  I got a new visit by an elder and an ms .

  the conversation soon got to spiritual subjects, this elder is company man all through and side kick well he's learning the ropes.

  bang mentioned snake antivenin, blood factions, then big geoffrey jackson saying presumptuous, then vin toole in the arc saying he had never heard of theocratic warfare.

  then told how god made exceptions to the rules on blood when soldiers ate unbled meat.

  Your telling them about your brown (recluse) spider bite and that the GB of the day 40 years ago wouldn't have 'allowed" the anti venum and now, nu-lite from 7 uneducated clowns and you can. That sure would have got my grey matter thinking. I like the way you handled yourself.

  May I ask, how is your bite area? Have you healed up? Those bites are horrible. I knew a guy that got bit. Not pretty.

  I too would like an explanation: If the 7 Fools are not inspired, why look to them for ANY advise? Thankfully, I don't anymore but with family and friends still captured by them...

  You sounded like you had fun with them. Hopefully one of them wakes up.

  My Reverse-Shunning Letter To My Mother

  i mailed the below letter to my mother a few weeks ago.

  i did share it on the ex-jw facebook group but thought i'd post it here.. basically, she's shunned me since day 1, has little or nothing to do with my 3yo daughter and told my sister "i hope <my daughter> becomes a jw when she's older so i can welcome her into the family".

  There are great men in every community, every city, worldwide.

  At the Kingdom Hall? Elders cover up pedophiles and treat women like second class citizens.

  Would you really want to get stuck with a JW, who thinks they have to listen and obey and be loyal to 7 uneducated, out of shape, delusional old men in New York first?

  i remember one of the nights that i found out the truth wasn't the truth, that is after finding out about the united nations, i remember riding my bicycle from like 1am till 5am in the city night.

  it was rather chilly, maybe about 55-60 degrees and i was playing pink floyd's dark side of the moon album in my earbuds.

  just riding and riding, not really tiring because of the thought that 7 men in brooklyn had duped me, duped me for like 20 plus years.

  How does one cope with the sudden and unexpected loss of a parent?

  my dad died of a blood clot as a result of surgery late last year.

  to say that his death created a bottomless void in our family is an understatement.

  i think about him every day, sometimes constantly.

  I am so sorry for your loss. To have someone you love die, is the most horrible feeling. And then to go suddenly, when it had been expected that he was going to be getting better, it is so hard to accept.

  Once you get past the grieving, and accept that he is truly gone, I hope, in time, you will enjoy each day of remembering what a great father you had. To allow his love to be all embracing for you. That in time, his memory will give you a serge of joy and happiness... that you were truly loved by a wonderful man. Wouldn't that have made him happy? That his love for you made you a better, stronger person? Are you able to show that kind of wonderful personality your dad had to others? To be as loving and thoughtful as him? A little bit? If so, then it would be as if he were still by your side, helping you, help others.

  So sorry what you and your mom have gone through and are going through still. It is so painful having to get rid of possessions that hold so many happy memories. Do you absolutely need to sell the house?

  It doesn't matter what jewelry or clothes he wears... But it is hypercritical to wear jewelry... yet tell little children to give up their ice cream money to "further Kingdom interests".

  He looks like he treats himself to anything he wants, ice cream, gold rings, international travel, adoring fans. And he lives in a "many room palatial estate" on the lake with maids, chauffeurs, free health care and anything his little heart desires. He listens to voices that tell him he is "special" and God has picked him because of this specialness. He's a fruit cake with supposedly 8 million adoring fans.

  She's here and early! 27 weeks 1day.

  so as of july 2nd my wife delivered by c-section our little one pound, three ounce daughter izabella.

  it was a very scary night that started with a decel and turned into multiple decels that greatly concerned the doctors.

  by early morning they felt the need to take her for her safety.

  Wearing kilts... So if you are born and bred Scottish, you cannot wear a kilt to a wedding? Can you wear it to a regular kingdom hall? Or at a convention?

  Now adays, would different clans with their own specific color and wool patterns... cause division (?) in the christian congregation?

  In Scotland, are there wool colors and patterns for the 'common man' to wear with out any ties to a clan?

  Is there still problems because of the Jacobites?

  Is a Scotsman dressed up in Highland kilt, welcomed down in the South dressed this way at an English Convention as a visitor?
